The exhibition schedule of the Green Bay Packers features an August 26 game against the AFC Champion Indianapolis Colts at Lambeau Field. The game marks the 50th anniversary of the Bishop’s Charities Game. Some exhibition games leave a little something to be desired. However, this game will be interesting for many reasons. It is the third of four exhibition games. Typically, this is the most exciting pre-season game, with starters playing well into the second half. That means Packers fans will have a rare glimpse of the AFC Champion Indianapolis Colts and 4-time MVP Peyton Manning. The Colts are arguably the most successful team of the past decade and Peyton Manning arguably the greatest quarterback of all-time. If this were a regular season game, the price of tickets would be very high. However, pre-season offers fans the unique opportunity to buy Packers tickets at reasonable prices. In fact, some Packers-Colts tickets are priced below the $67 face value. The date of the game allows students and families the opportunity to enjoy a Green Bay Packers game before the start of the school year.
